Provides entry-level participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over. Blended learning combines online learning with in-person skills sessions. Student complete the 7hs of online learning at their own pace before coming to the first skills session.
Class for new students. Class includes 7 hours of online training and 20 hours of skill practice sessions over 2 days.
Prerequisites:
1) Minimum age 15 years
2) Compete 7 hr online training prior to fist

3) Swim 300 yards continuously
3) Tread water for 2 minutes using only
the legs
4) Complete a timed to retrieve a 10lb brick
from 7-10ft deep, 20yds away within 1

Review classes are for students with current American Red Cross certifications to renew their certifications. Class includes 7hours of online training and 1, 10-hour skill session.

2) Hold a current, or expired no more than

Class teaches the additional skills needed to work in non-surf, open-water areas found at public parks, resorts, summer camps and campgrounds. Class is 1, 5-hour session.
Prerequisites:
1) Minimum age 15 years
2) Hold a current American Red Cross
Lifeguarding CPR/AED certification.
3) Complete the 3 parts of the Lifeguard
pre-course swim test
4) Swim 550 yards continuously using
freestyle and breaststroke only
5) Swim underwater 15yds and retrieve 3
items on 1 breath.

These courses trains instructor candidates to teach courses presented in the Swimming and Water Safety program to all age groups; Parent and Child Aquatics, Preschool Aquatics, Learn-to-Swim Levels 1-6,Adult Swim, and private swimming lessons . This certification is the gold standard and provides the most comprehensive training for swim instructors.
This course trains instructor candidates to teach the fundamentals of teaching. BSIs are not required to perform advanced swimming strokes and skills such as butterfly, backstroke and diving.

These courses train individuals how to respond to cardiac emergencies and provide life-sustaining care.
This course provides healthcare providers and public safety professionals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adult, child and infant patients. Consistent with the 2015 AHA Guidelines for CPR/ECC, BLS is the foundational CPR/AED program typically required for healthcare providers and public safety professionals.
The purpose of this course is to train professional-level rescuers to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants until more advanced medical personnel take over. This program is offered in traditional classroom or blended learning (online learning with instructor-led skill session) formats.
